Our foundation was established in 2008, and with decades of experience, we strive to reach a broad audience to improve perspectives and quality of life through our programs and services.

The Napagancsos Csodaszarvas Yurt Camp is the realization of a dream from five years ago.

Knowing the legend of the Csodaszarvas, we understand that Hunor and Magor (Hungarians) first set foot in this land, with its geometric center being Szarvas. We have created this wonderful spiritual community space and camp here, where we continually offer new opportunities to our visitors. Before you come to us, let us try to describe what you can expect:

On the edge of the city, where only deer and birds roam, you will find us. The last meters leading to the camp are on a gravel path. By the time you arrive, you will slow down… The camp is set in an area filled with decades-old trees and plants, which provide shade and the rustling leaves soothe the soul. The Köz-Ős-Tér (Central Ancestral Space) does not flaunt its appearance. The camp’s carved wooden gate is open to everyone, welcoming visitors with trust. The tents are arranged in a semicircle, with their doors facing the campfire. The circle symbolizes togetherness and community in sacred architecture. The tents are circular, and their arrangement forms a semicircle.

The camp serves not only relaxation but also complete tranquility. It is not flashy or a luxury inn. The living yurts, resembling the shelters of our wandering ancestors, are built on a wooden frame, with the “Istenfa” (Tree of the Gods) in the center, pointing to the sky and acting as the supporting pillar of the tent. It connects the three levels: the lower (evil, dark), the middle (human realm, present), and the upper (gods’ realm, light, brightness). From the top of the tent, we can see the sky through the open skylights. At night, the moon and stars are visible, and during the day, the shining rays of the sun. The colorful woven fabrics, blankets on the inner walls, and carpets on the wooden floor provide warmth and a friendly appearance. The fire pits on the campgrounds also serve as communal spaces. The togetherness, shared cooking, singing, drumming, and the sight of the fire itself provide strength. The crackling of the fire supports life energies.

Sleeping on mattresses in the yurts gives a sense of closeness to the earth. The furnishings and their colors offer the release of the soul and a feeling of lightness. The Ó-LAK animal park aims to honor the animals. The animals living with us nourish both our souls and bodies. According to our ancient belief system, animals are our siblings, creations of Mother Earth and Father Fire. Our animal park allows guests to touch, pet, and observe the animals’ habits in their natural environment. Ó-LAK houses ponies, goats, geese, chickens, ducks, and also a cat and dog waiting to be petted. Guests can feed, water, and care for them during their stay.

Across from the 70-square-meter covered terrace is a stage, offering opportunities for drama, dance, and other activities for campers, school groups, and specialized camps.
