About us
Napagancsos Csodaszarvas is the realization of a dream from five years ago.
Knowing the legend of the Magic Deer (in Hungarian Csodaszarvas), we understand that Hunor and Magor (Hungarians) first set foot in this land, with Szarvas being its geometric center. Here, we created this wonderful spiritual community camp and campsite, where we continually offer new opportunities for our visitors. Before you come and see us, we will try to describe what you can expect:
At the edge of the town, where only deer and birds roam, you’ll find us. The last meters to the camp are along a rustic path. By the time you arrive, you’ll slow down… The camp, nestled among trees and plants, hides the yurts and camping spots. The vegetation provides shade, and the rustling leaves have a soothing effect on the soul. The camp does not boast in appearance. The carved wooden gate welcomes all visitors with trust. Besides relaxation, the camp also offers complete tranquility. It is not flashy or a luxury guesthouse.
The Ó-LAK Animal Park aims to honor and respect animals. The creatures that share our lives nourish both our spirit and body. According to our ancient belief system, animals are our siblings, creations of Mother Earth and Father Fire. Our animal park offers guests the chance to touch, pet, and observe the animals in their natural environment. At Ó-LAK, you’ll find ponies, goats, geese, chickens, and ducks, as well as cats and dogs eagerly waiting for affection. You can feed, water, and care for them during your visit to the camp.
Opposite the 70 square meter covered terrace, there is a stage that provides opportunities for acting, dancing, and other activities for campers, school groups, specialized camps, and occasional concerts.

…anyone who enjoys beautiful surroundings, fresh air, the proximity and aroma of the Körös River, and who wants to glimpse into the life of our ancestors. If you want to spend several days in Szarvas, a tourist paradise often considered the pearl of the Great Plain, this is for you.
We recommend it to those who enjoy singing by a campfire or cooking their own dinner in a cauldron. For those who need silence and tranquility for creation or relaxation, those arriving in larger groups, and, not least, for those who want to achieve all this at an affordable price.

We are working on enabling payments with SZÉP cards and credit cards at our campsite.
There is no electricity in the yurts, so a flashlight or headlamp may be useful. Electricity hookup is available at the motorhome pitches and tent sites.
At the campsite, there are gender-separated water facilities available, including restrooms and showers.
There is no Wi-Fi and no television available on the campsite.
We welcome pets; however, we ask that you use a leash or kennel, as there are also other dogs, cats, and pets on the campsite.
